Principle of micro switch

Micro switch is a kind of switch with micro contact interval and quick action mechanism, which uses specified stroke and specified force to switch. It is covered with a shell and has a drive rod outside.

The external mechanical force acts on the action spring through the transmission elements (press pin, button, lever, roller, etc.). When the action spring moves to the critical point, it will produce instantaneous action, making the moving contact at the end of the action spring quickly connect or disconnect from the fixed contact.

When the force on the transmission element is removed, the action spring will generate a reverse action force. When the reverse travel of the transmission element reaches the critical point of the action of the spring, the reverse action will be completed instantaneously. The contact distance of the micro switch is small, the action stroke is short, the pressing force is small, and the on-off speed is fast. The action speed of the moving contact is independent of the action speed of the transmission element.

Wiring method of micro switch
